Thats just an innovation to get Americans who think miller light is "beer" to drink other beer.....Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11971097001488515052noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7350261035230526206.post-42122614886552570382009-04-03T16:49:00.000-04:002009-04-03T16:49:00.000-04:00Did not try the orange slice, maybe this evening. ...Did not try the orange slice, maybe this evening. I'm pretty sure you're supposed to do that.

Also, I don't think that Oberon is being hyped as "the Second Coming," but then I don't follow beer writing other than this blog. As a native of West Michigan, I know that Oberon has, for years, has always been celebrated as the beginning of the spring/summer outdoor eating and drinking season.

Was Oberon maybe one of the first microbrewed seasonal beers?Anthonyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01883148401575051375noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7350261035230526206.post-82822093592864411112009-04-03T10:56:00.000-04:002009-04-03T10:56:00.000-04:00The comment boards are on fire! The comment boards are on fire!Brew Dudehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07910100358301345146noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7350261035230526206.post-26908597099202518592009-04-03T10:45:00.000-04:002009-04-03T10:45:00.000-04:00While it was very peppery and clove-y, as you say,...While it was very peppery and clove-y, as you say, I enjoyed it- but it certainly wasn't all it's hyped up to be. I love wheat beers, but this was just a bit too bitter, and as you say, overpowering the typical wheat flavor. An enjoyable sipping beer, but I won't buy it again.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13101978189512652240noreply@blogger.com
